These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of RoleRunner and its related websites, applications, and services. By accessing or using RoleRunner, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

Effective date: March 23, 2026.

RoleRunner provides software tools to help users tailor resumes, generate cover letters and other application materials, manage job-search workflows, prepare for interviews, and publish career-related portfolio pages.

Some features may be free, while others may require a paid subscription.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of RoleRunner complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction. If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activities that occur under your account.

You must provide accurate information when creating or maintaining your account.

Certain features of RoleRunner are available only through paid plans. Subscription billing and payment processing are handled through Stripe.

You authorize us and our payment processor to charge the applicable subscription fees, taxes, and related charges associated with your selected plan. Pricing, billing cycles, and plan features may change over time, but changes will apply prospectively except where otherwise stated.

RoleRunner may allow eligible paid users, including Pro and Premium users, to publish portfolio pages publicly. By publishing a portfolio, you understand that the content you choose to make public may be visible to anyone with access to the page or link.

You are solely responsible for the content you publish and for ensuring you have the rights and permissions necessary to make that content public.

RoleRunner may offer optional features that allow users to be discovered by recruiters, employers, hiring partners, or other opportunity sources. If offered, those features are user-controlled and may be presented during onboarding or within account settings.

If a user leaves such a setting enabled, RoleRunner may display or share selected profile, resume, portfolio, or career-related information as necessary to operate those discovery or matching features. Users may disable participation before completing onboarding where applicable, and may also update that preference later through account settings.

You retain ownership of the resumes, cover letters, portfolio content, job descriptions, and other materials you submit to RoleRunner, subject to the limited rights necessary for us to operate, host, process, and improve the service.

You grant RoleRunner a non-exclusive, worldwide, limited license to use, host, store, reproduce, and process your content solely to provide and maintain the service and related functionality.

You may not use RoleRunner for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, misleading, or infringing purposes. You may not attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the service, reverse engineer protected parts of the platform where prohibited by law, scrape the service without permission, or use the service to violate the rights of others.

We may suspend or terminate access if we believe a user has violated these Terms or created risk for the platform or other users.

RoleRunner may provide AI-assisted outputs such as resume suggestions, cover letters, analysis, outreach content, and interview preparation. These outputs are provided for informational and productivity purposes only.

You are responsible for reviewing and validating any AI-generated content before relying on it, publishing it, or submitting it to employers or third parties.

RoleRunner and its underlying software, branding, designs, content, and service features are owned by or licensed to RoleRunner and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly allowed in these Terms, you may not copy, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit RoleRunner materials without permission.

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that the service will always be error-free.

We may also change plan features, usage limits, and product functionality from time to time.

You may stop using the service at any time and may manage deletion through your account settings where available. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, create legal or security risk, or if continued service is no longer commercially practical.

RoleRunner is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will meet every user need, achieve any employment outcome, or produce error-free or complete results.

RoleRunner does not provide legal, financial, or professional employment advice, and use of the platform does not guarantee interviews, offers, or hiring outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RoleRunner and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the extent liability cannot be excluded, our aggregate liability will be limited to the amount you paid to use the service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or CAD $100 if you have not paid for the service, unless a different minimum is required by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles, except where another governing law is required by applicable consumer protection legislation.

RoleRunner has not yet published a dedicated legal or support contact email or mailing address. Until that information is finalized, official contact details may be provided through future updates to the service or these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may revise the effective date above and provide additional notice where appropriate.
